"Gekine Moku" is a voice data bank made for the voice synthesis software "UTAU." This voice and mascot can be used for music covers, original songs, and other creative projects. The voice and software are free to download. Please review the TOS and FAQ before usage.
Voice description goes here.
"Moku" was originally conceived as a character back in the ancient era of the internet when everything was blurry and if you didn't own a drawing tablet, you scanned notebook paper directly into the family printer and uploaded it to deviantART. (2009)
Early 2012, he received a re-design (surviving against all odds).
On August 10, 2012, the concept of "Moku" was again forcibly revisited and restructured as an UTAU voicebank, marking his formal reutilization within UTAU voice synthesis software.
Some covers and tests were uploaded, but the voicebank itself remained private — partially because it was unfinished, and partially because everybody involved was too embarrassed to upload any of it publicly.
As a result, the voicebank was never officially released for download at the time. The earliest uploaded works are here:
Not long after, these videos vanished into private status for the next several years, and the voicebank became lost media to be recovered from a dusty hard drive in somebody's basement.
In 2021, his old voicebank files were miraculously located.
Moku was subsequently resurrected, given another redesign, and finally equipped with a proper voicebank configuration that wasn't held together by hope and outdated forum tutorials.
Following his recovery, he was granted an official public debut on January 1, 2022.
He is currently receiving regular updates as an UTAU voicebank, with future plans for DiffSinger support as well, due to his refusal to die.
Thank you for supporting Gekine Moku! I would love to see anything anyone creates.
